Cultivating the potential
of school dropouts
and youth at-risk.

Rebound offers specialized training
to guide at-risk youth and school
dropouts towards stable careers.

Eden's Rebound program is specifically crafted to assist school dropouts and at-risk youth in making a positive turnaround towards a fulfilling life and career. Participants, predominantly from underserved communities, receive access to extensive life skills training and conservation education. This equips them with the necessary knowledge, skills, and motivation to tackle the challenges posed by poverty and environmental changes. Moreover, they are empowered to actively contribute to the enhancement of their communities and the environment through ecopreneurship.

When we believe in the impossible, it becomes possible and we can do all kinds of extraordinary things.

Training Kenyan Youth as Citizen Naturalists and Outdoor Specialists

Untitled design (2)

Rebound's specially-tailored Citizen Naturalist program is meticulously designed to equip students with the comprehensive knowledge and skills essential for roles as field guides and naturalists in Kenya. Additionally, participants undergo training as environmental educators, tree nursery assistants, human-wildlife conflict mitigators, and experts in sustainable living.

What sets Rebound's Citizen Naturalist training program apart is its focus on youth who are unable to access educational institutions offering this specific certification.

With small classroom sizes, personalized mentoring, and hands-on outdoor education, participants are provided with the necessary resources, educational opportunities, and support crucial for their success.

Rebound trains youth to create local environmental solutions

Trash, or 'taka taka' in Kiswahili, does not need to pollute our environment!

Eden Thriving supports jobless youth to create innovative eco-friendly products and services which provide real solutions to local problems while restoring the land and improving livelihoods.

Eden co-founder, Kym Arensen, designed a waste management solution that turns trash into beautiful and useful structures. Trash that cannot be turned into plastic flakes, can become beautiful Taka Taka benches, buildings, or sheds.
